      Summary

Since Bamboo 9.0 onwards, the default SSH key created for Bitbucket integration uses ED25519.

If In Bitbucket we disable ED25519 SSH keys from being used and then try to setup a linked repo in Bamboo the integration will not work correctly.

      Suggestion

The objective is to warn or give an error in Bamboo since the current behavior does not help figure out what is going wrong. This can break the core functionality of the application. At the very least, the error should be clear that ED25519 should be enabled again in Bitbucket or that is currently disabled. Also, it could change to using an allowed SSH key type as per suggestion BAM-25741.
