Allow to add capabilities to Elastic Agents using bamboo-capabilities.properties file

Problem Definition

Currently, Bamboo doesn't have the possibility to add capabilities to Elastic Agents using bamboo-capabilities.properties file.

If the customer wants to migrate the Remote Agents to Elastic Agents using the bamboo-capabilities.properties it is necessary to follow this KB: Configuring elastic agent capabilities.

Suggested Solution

It would be great if it's possible to add capabilities to Elastic Agents using bamboo-capabilities.properties file.

Workaround

We acknowledge this isn't a comprehensive workaround but it may be helpful to know that default capabilities can be defined on a per platform (Linux vs Windows) basis for Elastic Images:
