    Description

      We would like Bamboo to offer a global build numbering scheme, where the build number is enough to uniquely identify the build - regardless of whether that build happened on a branch or on the 'default' branch.

      If this is implemented, this number should subsequently be exposed as a Bamboo variable that can be used in deployment projects and in release naming schemes.
