Sometimes, when a job in my build fails, I know as soon as it has failed that I want to run it again (e.g., dependency on external infrastructure that was down at the time the job ran, but is fixed now).

In some cases, other longer-running jobs are still in progress, so the "Rerun Failed Jobs" button doesn't appear. This means that I need to wait for everything else to finish before I have a chance to rerun the job that has already failed.

It would be better if I could kick off another run of jobs that have already failed while other jobs are still in progress.
