Notification events are a nice way to collect terse history of what the server is actually doing, but some more information would be nice...

Would like to see some more system notification events:

      • server paused/resumed
      • server started/shutting down

Would like to see plan/job events:

      • plan build started/stopped
      • job build started/stopped

I'm mostly interested in plan started, since some plans could take many many hours, I'd like to get a simple notification when this happens.

Would also like to see other notification events:

      • elastic agent instance started/stopped/failed
      • elastic agent running/stopped/failed

Might also be interesting to make a generic notification task, so that a particular job workflow could emit its own custom notifications.

[BAM-11127] Add more system/other notification events

            Additional system notifications request (BAM-16157):
            -Change of Responsibilities -> Committers
-Failed Builds and First Successful -> Committers

Jason - I've created a plugin "Agent Utilities - Basic" : https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.pronetbeans.bamboo.agentutils-basic It allows a Bamboo Admin to set a System Notification if an Agent Goes Offline, Gets its Config Updated, or if All Agents get a config item changed. I have tested it with Local and Remote agents, but not Elastic agents.

Presently I'm just looking to enable the new notifications via the web UI.

            Jason,
To clarify, do you want System and Plan Notifications for these or do you want Atlassian Event APIs?

            Thanks
            James
