Summary

Unable to create user if email has sub-domain

Environment

• JIRA Cloud 1000.253.3

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to User Management (Cog icon > User Mangement)
2. Click the button Create User
3. Key in an email with a subdomain (e.g: testuser@testmail.com.ua)

Expected Results

User to be created.

Actual Results

Error on screen:
A valid email address must be supplied

Workaround

1. Create the user without sub-domain
2. Once user is created, edit the user's email with the sub-domain.
