      Issue Summary

When assigning space access to a newly added guest user, the automatic prompt appears to be broken — it ignores the full site URL and starts directly from /wiki/, resulting in an incomplete or invalid link.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add a new user and grant them guest access through the admin UI.
      2. A prompt will appear in the bottom-left corner to manage their space permissions.
      3. Click the link in that prompt.
      4. It leads to a broken page due to an incomplete or incorrect URL.

      Expected Results

Clicking the link to manage space permissions should ideally direct the admin to the Confluence global permissions page, where guest space access can be managed.

      Actual Results

When assigning the guest role to a user on the user details page, the link that is shown in the prompt to manage the guest's space permissions is broken

      Workaround

When you add a user directly as a guest into the default guest group, the prompt to manage their space permissions appears, and the link in that prompt works correctly without being broken.

      OR

You may manually insert the site URL between the "https://" and the "/wiki/..." segments.

            I agree with Thomas' observation.

            Hi,

thanks for opening this issue. I think the steps to reproduce are not correct, if you add a new user and give them guest access immediately in the invite window, the error does not happen. But if you have an existing user that did not have Confluence access before and now you want to give them Confluence guest access later on, you have to go press the "Grant access" button and give him access in the dialog window that's opening up. This is where the URL is generated incorrectly without the Base URL in the front.

An easy workaround is also to use the incorrect link and just add the Base URL of the environment between the "https://" and the "/wiki/..." parts of the URL.
