      Summary

Org Admins can't view the user profiles of users with access to a large number of products.

      Expected Results

For the user profile to load.

      Actual Results

The following error is encountered after waiting for 3 minutes:

      Workaround

For checking the product access of an external user on a particular site and product:

      1. Clarify what groups are providing product access for the product
      2. Check in the Admin HUB if the user is a member of that group or use Get user groups from Jira API to obtain the group programmatically.

To check the product access of a managed Atlassian Account, you can filter the results returned by Get managed accounts in an organization, Organisation API or check the managed account profile in Admin HUB.

[AX-1109] Org Admins can't view users' user profiles with access to many products.

            Hi all,

We have been working on some exciting changes to the user profile in Atlassian Administration. We’re introducing a more performant UI and the ability to:

            • filter apps that a user has access to
            • filter groups by the apps it grants access to
            • search the list of groups that a user is a member of

The new user profile will be available in early access later this month. If your organization is interested in getting early access, please email me at ayang@atlassian.com along with your organization ID so we can evaluate your eligibility. You can find your organization ID in the URL for Atlassian Administration (e.g. https://admin.atlassian.com/o/<organizationID>)

Currently, the early access is limited to organizations with the centralized user management experience. The new user profile will be available to those with the original user management experience later this year.

If you have any questions about this feature, please let me know.

            Cheers,
            Aneita

in our case, the problem loading user profile in a site occurs when the user belong to thousand of groups that are synced by Idp (AzureAD)

This generates a problem as for those users with larg group membership we are not able to activate site access or check the user product licenses through  the UI

An easy workaround exists only for managed users: Products are listed in the managed users pages.

For non-managed users, we can open the license-granting groups, but our confluence-users group has 27.000 users, and it can not be filtered by users.

We do not want to create our own admin gui via APIs. We appreciate a quick fix on that on your side.
