Issue Summary
When we run a Automation rule Manually via the Jira issue view, this uses a "Manual Trigger" on the automation. Running the rule from the Jira Issue View, gives a pop-up message on the bottom left corner stating "Automation rule is in progress". However, it doesn't indicate if the automation rule ran successfully or no.
To check the same we have to take another step of expanding the "Rule Execution" panel in the context field area and then "Refresh" the panel to look at the latest executions and their results.
Suggestion
- When the automation rule is triggered "Manually" from the Jira issue view, the UI should indicate if the previously run rule was successfully executed or it had errors or if there was no action performed. This would allow user who is running the rule get an idea on whether the rule failed or was successful or had no impact.
- OR provide a smart value to fetch the automation execution status which can be then used to "Enter the status in the comment", Or a field that holds the last execution result or can be used to send email notification on every execution to the one who triggered or initiated the rule manually.
