As a user, I'd like to use REST API and Automation rules to update Fix version field with archived version

      Problem Definition

      End users could no longer update the Fix Version field with archived versions as expected. However, I'd like to use REST API and Automation rules to still update Fix version fields with archived version.

      Suggested Solution

      Block the end users from adding archived version in Fix Version field, but let the REST API and Automation rules to still add archived versions.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
