Issue Summary
In the custom field, you have the option to create multiple field contexts. Which is for project A, it will have a different value from project B value. However, in automation, even though the admin creating automation for project A, when choosing the field value at the "Edit Issue" action, the admin can see all values from Project A and Project B.
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes) / (no)
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a select list custom field and set multiple context. For example as per screenshot :-
- Make sure you have access to both project that you've added to the field context
- Then , add the field to the project A screen.
- Go to Project A automation and configure the automation.
- Choose the " Edit Issue" action and select the field.
- Try to choose the value
Expected Results
The admin only can see values relevant for Project A

Workaround
Use separate fields for both projects.
