Ability to iterate / loop over each value in multivalue field or issue field changes

      Problem Definition

      At this time we only can branch over a set of Jira issues and do a set of actions within the branch

      Suggested Solution

      Allow the ability to branch for each field value. Example use-cases.

      • For each version - send a webhook
      • For each component - create a sub task
      • For each user in custom field - send an sms
      • For each checkbox selected - create an issue
      • For number field create a sub-task for each
      • For each comment, perform an action.
      • For each request participant, add as customer

            FWIW, I have solved my usecase (iterate over 2 multi-select fields and build a list and store it back in Jira which is necessary to call an API webhook) using script listener.

            Many of the original use cases in this suggestion can be implemented with Advanced Branching in Jira Cloud since July 2021:

            Advanced branching is limited to up to 100 issues / items and processing is asynchronous and in parallel; thus it may not be a good fit for some use cases.
