As of now, once an automation rule fails it's not possible to re-run the failed/aborted/errored executions.

It would be nice to be able to re-run rules that failed in executing.

Example 1: Jira hits the monthly execution limit and rule executions are aborted.

Example 2: a rule is triggered for issues created via email > the rule looks for a pattern within the body of the email > the pattern changes and the rule stops working. There could be multiple failures of the same rule that need to be rerun.

      Workaround

Duplicate the affected rule (where the executions failed), and change the trigger to a "Manual trigger". Then, rerun the rule manually on each affected ticket.
