User picker field in Atlassian Teams is not searchable with email address

      You can search for users in user picker fields across Jira using either the Display name or Email address as criteria, but Jira Teams only allows searching with a display name.

      Large companies are more likely to have more than one individual with the same name, and attempting to manage a Team without the ability to do so by email address can block some companies from using Teams.

      Teams should additionally allow searching with an email address when adding individuals to a team and searching for users in Atlassian Teams.
