Issue Summary
MS Teams application is currently expected to work for licensed users. In case this is used to communicate with/notify unlicensed users, feature will not work as expected.
Steps to Reproduce
- Configure MS Teams application to notify users from issue updates
- Please be sure to add an unlicensed users as Reporter for this user to be notified when issue is updated
- Notification is sent for unlicensed user, but it contains URL of internal issue view, for which unlicensed user does not have access to
Expected Results
For unlicensed users, Jira should include portal request URL instead of internal issue view URL.
Actual Results
For both licensed users and unlicensed users, internal issue view URL is sent in MS Teams notification, which cause unlicensed users to see an error message informing they don't have access to the request, which is misleading.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
