Problem
When there are two instances with the same project key and connected to the Jira cloud for Outlook, the add-on displays both issues in the window below when it detects a text that matches the issue key.
But it is difficult to find which issue belongs to which instance just by looking at it.
The second issue is, the add-on is picking up from text which are not issues but part of a different file. such as :
If the below this.PO1-281.zip is a zip file name and not an issue, Jira cloud for Outlook add on is picking it up.
Suggested Solution
The first suggestion is:
To add the instance name next to the issue that the add-on picks.
The second suggestion is:
Having a better logic to pick the text from the email.
Workaround
There are currently no workaround available.
Pre-Condition
I have connected 2 sites of my company. Once is prod and one is dev. dev data sync from prod.
Issue I am facing
Addin->Send to issue, i search the issue key and pop dev issue only. So my comments are always go to dev environment but but I expected prod.
This lead to I cannot use this addin anymore.
What I have Done
I have tried to disconnect all sites and connect prod site only.
But after I connect successful, still both 2 site visible and issue still existing for me
