      Issue Summary

Archived pages that have been recently viewed by a user are incorrectly appearing in Confluence's Quick Search results. According to the official Confluence documentation "https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/archive-pages/", archived pages should not appear in Quick Search, as they are intended to be removed from the content tree and search functions to maintain focus and relevance.

      • "When you archive an item, you not only remove it from the content tree, you also remove it from quick search."
      • "Archived content is excluded from quick search and analytics to keep those functions focused and relevant."

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Archive a page in Confluence by following the standard process outlined in the documentation.
      2. View the archived page by accessing it directly through a previously saved link.
      3. Perform a Quick Search in Confluence using a keyword or term related to the recently viewed archived page.

      Expected Results

The archived page should not appear in the Quick Search results, in accordance with the Confluence documentation stating that archived content is excluded from Quick Search and analytics.

      Actual Results

The archived page appears in the Quick Search results if it has been recently viewed by the user.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
