      Issue Summary

As it currently is, Atlassian Intelligence can only be enabled at a product level, not per project.

Organizations may have sensitive data or they simply don't want to allow AI in specific projects.

It would be good to have the option to enable/disable on a project basis.

      Workaround

Atlassian Intelligence honors all existing permissions within each feature. Users will not be able to create or generate content based on resources they don't have access to.

What is feasible to achieve at this moment is to restrict some projects to specific users.

[AI-903] Ability to enable Atlassian Intelligence at a project level

This is an absolutely necessary feature for us. Some of our customers do not allow their data to be processed by LLMs or sent to the OpenAI API. Therefore we need a project by project option to activate / deactivate Atlassian AI.

This should be required in all AI solutions, more granular controls. As a company across multiple companies and in the health care space without this it's almost un-useable.

This absolutely needs to be a thing.
In the EU where we have to wrangle the GDPR and the AI Act, the current "all or nothing" approach to enabling Atlassian Intelligence in products quickly make it a hard no to enabling it.
