Seaching of zipped attachments

      A couple of users have asked if Confluence can support searching of zipped attachments (pdf, doc etc.)

            Thank you for raising this issue. While we can see how this feature would be useful, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now.

            We are using Confluence 2.5.1 and I would like to have the zipped attachments searchable.

            In the demonstration space it is written that the zip attachments are full-text indexed and their content is searchable.
