This would be very useful for building standardized links for users to review recent mentions of themselves. CurrentUser() as a search option would also be beneficial.

Today I tried to figure out what I wrote over the last year for a performance review, because much of my work involves producing documentation ahead of development. But because I can't sort by date I'm not able to use Confluence for this purpose. This is VERY frustrating.

Unfortunately not yet in the version 7.19 , I do not understand why we have been waiting for 5 years for a feature which seems to me really basic : be able to sort the pages by modification or creation date

The lack of this feature is making the search function WAY less helpful than it was in Server, where you could sort your results.

            Hey team,

This is a very large demand expressed by our users too. I think last update would be appropriate. In Jira you can choose by which date (created or update) you want to sort.
Please selct this one, it would be so useful !!

Meanwhile, @sylvain Pingont can you post this CQL request ? Thanks

Each of pages has a date associated with the content of the page that is not necessarily the same as when the page was created or last updated. I hope this will be possible, maybe with a workaround, but before even a workaround is possible, we need the ability to sort the search results at least in some way.

Does anyone know what determines the order of the current “non-sorted” search results?

Hey team, this would be a huge help. Would love to see CLOUD get a little love!

            Hi,

I've found a solution by going through an Atlassian Experts who just built for us a plugin using CQL and we are now able to get the last blog posts, pages... listed by creation date (ASC, DESC...). It's really useful!

Our users are satisfied with the proposed solution

The name of this expert is Akeles and I really recommend them for their work.
