Confluence uses an input of type "search" for its search dialog. In Chrome and Safari this control gets a dropdown icon. In Safari clicking that dropdown always says "No Recent Searches". This looks like a bug to users and may genuinely be due to something Confluence is doing wrong.
To add support for history in this dropdown, we need to add an 'autosave' value for the dropdown which is specific to the site being searched. (Really, I'm not sure why the browser couldn't do this itself based on the domain name or something.)
