      Issue Summary

      Currently, Rovo Search returns results from all Atlassian apps + 3P connectors even when the search happens within Jira or Confluence app.

      This is not always ideal for some end users who only wants to always return results from Jira (when search happened in Jira) or Confluence (when search happened in Confluence).

      Filtering the results each search adds in to the steps required by the end users to make before they can get the results they want by default.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. In Jira or Confluence, on top Search bar, search for your object
      2. Using the filters, set the parameters of the source you'd like (Jira, Confluence, 3P app etc)

      Suggestion

      Allow the end users or admins to have a default filter for each app (Jira, Confluence etc) so they can customise this based on their own personal workflow.

      Workaround

      • Currently, end users can narrow down the sources of the results by using the filter in Rovo Search{}

      Additional tips:

      • In Confluence:
        Type your search term and press Ctrl/Cmd + Enter to automatically filter results to Confluence.
      • In Jira:
        Type your search term and press Enter to search directly within Jira work items. This is also mentioned in the article: Introducing Rovo Search for Jira (see the “A New Way to Search” section).
      • Bookmarking:
        You can select your preferred product filter and save the page as a bookmark in your browser. Next time you search, simply use the bookmark to have your filter applied automatically.
