Problem Description
Currently, when users perform a search in Rovo, the UI does not accurately reflect when there are results in Outlook Email. The number displayed next to "Outlook Email" in the results sidebar is always zero, even if matching results exist. As a result, users are unaware that relevant Outlook Email results are available unless they specifically click on "Outlook Email" in the menu. This leads to confusion and missed information, as users may assume there are no email results for their query.
Suggested Solution
Enhance the Rovo search results UI so that:
- The number next to "Outlook Email" accurately reflects the count of matching results for the current search.
- If there are results in Outlook Email, display a visual indicator or count, just as is done for other sources.
- Ensure that users can easily see at a glance when their search has returned results in Outlook Email, without needing to click into the menu.
Why is this important?
This improvement will make the search experience more intuitive and efficient. Users will be able to quickly identify when relevant Outlook Email results are available, reducing the risk of missing important information and improving overall productivity.
