User Problem

Some Rovo Search 3p connectors, like Gmail or Outlook Mail, do not index content currently.

When performing a Rovo Confluence Search, the connector list on the right will show 0 results and no results for those 3p connectors will be shown in the main search area.

However, if users click on the 3p connector in the connector list on the right, they will see results.

This is because the connector list on the right shows indexed object counts, not actual returned counts. This is confusing for customers who may not realize that they need to click the 3p connector from the connector list on the right in order to see results.

Suggested Solutions

Show returned results (indexed or otherwise) from all connectors on the right connector list alongside indexed amounts.

Current Workarounds

Users must click on the 3p connector on the right connector list in Rovo Confluence Search in order to see 3p connector results counts.
