Issue Summary
Seems like this was working before, but something could have been changed in the search engine that's causing a difference in the displaying results.
When searching by the Work Item Number (without the Project Key prefix) no results are displayed. Please see the screenshot below for an example.
This seems to be working if the Work Item is present in the Recent list.
Steps to Reproduce
- Try searching for the Work Item Number without its Project Key prefix
- The Work Item should not be in the Recent list
Expected Results
The Work Item should be displayed in the result list. Or at least, the matching Work Item numbers.
Actual Results
No entries are found, unless the Work Item is in the Recent list.
Workaround
- The full work item key should be used in the search;
- Other filters can be combined in the search from the right side panel, such as Assignee or Project, to help the search finding results;
