Connecting Rovo Search to Slack should not warn users about an unlisted app

      Problem

When admins and end users attempt to connect to Slack in Rovo Search, they will be warned that "This app is not approved by Slack." In some Slack Workspace configurations, this will prevent end users from using the app entirely.

      Suggested Solution

Atlassian should work to approve the Atlassian Rovo Slack app such that users are not notified that the "app is not approved by Slack".

      Current Workaround

If acceptable to your team, consider easing your Slack Workspace configuration to allow end users to use unapproved Slack apps. The Slack support team may have more options for your team.

Worth noting: I was able to install this app as an admin for my end users, but they cannot "connect" their accounts because of the current settings of the app. Per slack, it should be possible to adjust the custom app permissions so the end users can approve this connection without having to "install" because it is already installed for the Org.  (Having it as an approved app will also eliminate the issue.

Until this is resolved any organization that does not permit unauthorized apps to be installed/activated by any member will be unable to connect their slack to Rovo unless they are an admin.
