      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Cloud. Using JIRA Service Desk Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Developers are not aware they need to use CustomerContextService to execute code as customer users; see e.g JSD-3907 and JSD-3950.

      I reckon this should be prominently mentioned on https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/JIRA+Service+Desk+development+guide
