TIFF image will not render in Chrome and Firefox

Summary

TIFF images attachment in JIRA issue will not be rendered properly if a user wants to preview it on Chrome and Firefox, but this will work fine on IE 11.

Environment

• JIRA 7.2.4
• IE 11
• Chrome 54.0.2840.99 m
• Firefox 48.0

Steps to Reproduce

1. Attach a .tiff file to a JIRA issue. You can use the file from the attachment. Untitled.tiff
2. Click on the thumbnail of the attachment.

Expected Results

Display the TIFF image.

It works on IE 11 - this is due to the browser support, please refer to Image format support.
