Description

After some analysis we've found that this issue is actually a limitation in Confluence described by the feature request at CONFSERVER-4337 and confluence is working as designed, so this is not a bug. Please see our New Features Policy for more information and watch that request for further updates.
Actions:
- Open Word document.
- Copy/paste text from Word doc into Confluence page.
- Copy/paste image from Word doc into Confluence page.
Expected:
Text and images copied into the page, images stored as attachments.
Actual:
Text copied into the page.
Edge - Copied image doesn't paste.
IE 8 - No option to paste images.
Firefox 7 - Image doesn't copy or paste on Mac, works perfectly on Win7.
Safari 5.1 - Image copies and appears in the edit window, then appears as a broken link when saved.
Chrome - Images copy and paste perfectly on Win7 and Mac. However, after testing it does not work with Win10 and MacOS 10.13.06
Update:
The issue can be reproduced on all recent version of browser.
