Reference attributes are not being updated during the Assets - Device42 import.

      Issue Summary

This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes

For Assets - Device42 Integration, the Devices and their corresponding IP addresses have been successfully imported under various object types. Nevertheless, it seems that the references from devices to IP addresses are not being carried over when importing objects from Device 42 instances.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Expected Results

The IP address attribute for the device object type needs to be updated after the import process. Currently, however, the ip address attributes are empty.

      Actual Results

Verify that the objects are imported under object types. For instance, objects are imported under the Object type "device" and the Object type "IP address". Nevertheless, the reference attribute of the Device object type IP address has not been updated with any values, resulting in missing reference attribute values after the import.

Furthermore, it has been noted that this issue is not only limited to the ipaddress attribute; there may be several other attributes affected by this issue.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

The url is returning incorrect response.
            https://swaggerdemo.device42.com/api/1.0/ips?device=azuretestd42_vm&format=xml&limit=100&offset=1000

It is supposed to return the ip ids for the device. However, it is returning an empty value and hence we are not able to see the result in our import. Below result does not have any ip associated with it whereas we are expecting one.

Raised a ticket with Device42 directly regarding the same. Ticket url: https://swaggerdemo.device42.com/api/1.0/ips is not returning the ip id for the devices – Device42 Support Portal
