Problem Definition:
Organizations with a large number of groups and sites face limitations when attempting to migrate to the new Centralized User Management Experience. Our current system supports a maximum of 2,000 groups and 10 sites, but organizations exceeding these limits, encounter hard blockers that prevent successful migration. These limitations lead to timeouts and an inability to complete the migration process.
Suggested Solution:
Develop enhancements to support larger organizations, allowing those with more than 2,000 groups and 10 sites to migrate seamlessly. This would involve optimizing the system to handle greater scale and complexity without timing out.
Why this is important:
Enabling large organizations to migrate to the new Centralized User Management Experience is crucial for efficient user management. It allows these organizations to manage all users in a single, unified platform, improving administrative efficiency and reducing the complexity associated with overseeing multiple sites and groups.
Workaround:
Currently, the only workaround for large organizations is to reduce the number of sites and groups to within the supported limits. This involves consolidating groups and sites, which may not be feasible or desirable for many organizations due to operational needs and existing structures. This workaround is not ideal as it imposes significant constraints on the organization's ability to manage its resources effectively.
