User Problem
The "Your Items" section currently includes assigned checklist items from closed cards and boards, cluttering the view and making it difficult for users to focus on relevant tasks.
Suggested Solutions
- Automatically exclude checklist items from closed boards in the "Your Items" section. Only show items from open and active boards.
- Provide users with a toggle or filter option to hide or show items from closed boards based on their preferences.
- Separate "Your Items" into sections, such as "Active Boards" and "Closed Boards," to allow users to easily differentiate and prioritize tasks.
Current Workarounds
- Reopen the board and create a card button to check all items on the relevant checklist.
- Once all items on the checklist are marked as checked, they should no longer appear in the "Your Items" section. This method requires manual effort but allows users to clear the clutter from their "Your Items" list.
- Reopen the board and leave the board.
- By leaving the board, the user will no longer see checklist items assigned to them from that board in the "Your Items" section. However, this workaround has a significant downside: leaving a board also removes the user from all cards they worked on in the past, potentially losing access to important historical context or references.
