User Problem
Users are sometimes invited to boards they do not want to join. This is usually done accidentally, because their name is similar to the person who was supposed to be invited; however, it’s sometimes done intentionally and maliciously, to spam or harass the user.
Suggested Solutions
- When a user is invited to a board from someone they are not already collaborating with, send an invitation, which the user can accept or reject, rather than immediately adding them to the board.
- Allow blocking all invitations from specific users.
- Allow users to hide their account from public search.
Current Workarounds
There is no workaround available to prevent being added to a board, although users can leave boards they’ve been added to.
