      Issue Summary

      When users open the Trello Desktop app, click on their profile names, navigate to settings, and click on "Manage email preferences," Trello redirects them to the marketing page using the same browser window, instead of opening a new tab. Some users find it difficult to navigate back to the Trello app from this page. Closing the Trello App returns them to the same Marketing page.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open the Trello Desktop app.
      2. Click on your profile name to access the settings menu.
      3. Click on "Manage email preferences."
      4. See that Trello redirects to the marketing page in the same browser window.

      Expected Results

      Clicking on "Manage email preferences" should open the marketing page in a new browser tab, allowing users to easily switch back to the Trello app.

      Actual Results

      The marketing page opens in the same browser window, making it difficult for users to return to the Trello app.

      Workaround

      For MAC:

      Users can return to the Trello app by clicking on the Trello menu above and selecting "Open Boards page." However, this is not intuitive for all users.

      For Windows:

      • Reinstalling the app will redirect you back to the boards.
