Issue Summary
Some users are unable to download card attachments when trying to select the 'Share' button on the cardback. The issue only appears to be affecting a subset of users, particularly those who haven't uploaded attachments to cards before.
Confirmed to be an issue on version 2024.17 however it could be affecting other versions too.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the Trello iOS App
- Navigate to a Board
- Select a card that has attachments
- Click on the 'more options' (...) icon and click 'Share'
Expected Results
I would expect to be presented with the iOS share options, including the ability to download the file
Actual Results
I am presented with an error at the bottom of the screen
There was a problem preparing your attachment for sharing, verify your internet connection and try again.
Workaround
For certain filetypes, users can preview the file first and then select the 'Share' option from the preview screen.
Users can also upload an attachment from their device (photo/video or other file) to a card, after doing this they will be able to download attachments through the 'Share' button directly from the card.
