Issue Summary

When editing in Trello an extra space at the end of the code block breaks the entire code block markdown on cardback. 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Trello board
2. Open a card
3. Add description or comment to the cardback containing code block with extra space in it like 

   `foo hello_world = ` or `bar hello_world = ` some text

Expected Results

Code blocks would appear normally

Actual Results

 foo hello_world = \ or `bar hello_world = ` some text

Workaround

Adding a block code without extra space at the end seems to work. 
Extra notes: Editing already broken markdown doesn't seem to work, removing it altogether and adding a new code block without the space at the end works.
