User Problem
When deleting an item from a checklist in the Android mobile app, users have to start editing the item for the trash can icon that allows deleting to show up. After clicking that, deleting a second item requires the user to wait for the confirmation message to go away on its own.
This is a problem for users handling multiple items in checklists, or when carrying over checklists from one card to another, when they want to preserve most of it, but routinely delete some items during that process
Suggested Solutions
- Allow for the item to be deleted without having to start editing it
- Create a deletion alternative, such as dragging the checklist item off-screen
- Move the confirmation message outside of the same space occupied by the delete button
- Allow a user to disable or remove the confirmation message with a gesture/button
Current Workarounds
Users have to wait for the message to go away on its own.
