User Problem
Currently, users can use the Dashcards Power-Up to have a better visual cue of which lists need more attention or if their teammates are overloaded with work so their tasks can be reassigned to other members and more.
Despite the Dashcards Power-Up being extremely helpful for some users, it lacks some more advanced features. For example, users can create their Dashcards using filters, but they can't determine what happens to them when certain criteria are met, and this is what some users are looking for. They want the ability to change a few details of the Dashcard when a specific threshold is met so they can raise their teammates' awareness of which tasks need more attention.
Suggested Solutions
We should add new filter options to Dashcards that allow users to change specific characteristics of the Dashcards or use Trello's Automation to alter specific properties of the cards based on the filters used on the specific Dashcard.
For example, we could have an Automation command that does the following:
If there are more than five cards unassigned in list "To Do", assign them randomly
This should give more agency to users on how to adjust their boards to their current workflow.
Current Workarounds
Currently, users can use Automation and Trello's API to change the colors of their lists. It doesn't have the same effect as Dashcards, but it's an alternative while this functionality isn't available.
