User Problem

Currently, users can receive suggestions about which members they want to add to their cards. However, these suggestions are only triggered when you want to add a member who is not shown on the list of card members due to the maximum number of board members you have. This usually happens when you have more than 12 board members. 

For example, let's say a board has 20 members. When a user opens a card and clicks "Members" to add a card member, they'll see a list of only 12 members of the board to choose from, and the remaining members will be hidden since the popover can only display 12 members at a time:

Then, let's say the user wants to add someone to the card, which needs to be shown on this list of board members. In this situation, they'd have to filter for this person to find them and then add them to the card as a card member. Once the card member is added, the next time they open a different card in the same list, they'll get a suggestion to add the previous member to the card, as shown below:

In short, card members' suggestions are only available to users when these criteria are met, making this feature less appealing to users who constantly work on boards. 

Suggested Solutions

We should revisit these criteria. Instead of only showing suggestions based on the list, and when a user isn't shown on the list of board members to be added to the card, we should suggest card members based on how frequently a specific member is added to a card during a period of time. 

For example, Alice, as a board member and manager, is responsible for assigning tasks to their squad leaders, and she's always assigning these cards to the same members. In this case, the suggestions would suggest the most added members on the board (a top five or top three), allowing users to pick up the members they want to add quicker than searching for them and then adding them to the card. 

Current Workarounds

Currently, users have to search for the user they want to add (if it's not shown on the list), and then, when opening the next card, the suggestion will be shown to them (Up to five suggestions).
