User Problem

Users can automate the creation of new cards from Template cards using scheduled automation. This process relies on specifying the name of the Template card to be copied. This setup poses a significant inconvenience for users: if the name of a Template card is changed for any reason, all existing scheduled automation referring to that Template by name must be manually updated to reflect the new name.

Suggested Solutions

• Ability to specify template cards by their unique ID instead of their name in scheduled automation. Since each card's ID is unique and remains constant regardless of changes to the card's name, this feature would allow for more stable and reliable automation.
• Extend the 'find a card titled or with link' functionality, currently available in Automation rules, to scheduled automation as well.
