      User Problem

Currently, cards from boards appear on the highlights feed, regardless of whether the user is watching them or not.

This is because the Highlights feed shows cards based on board membership: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/the-home-page/#Highlights

Use this view to stay updated with activity from your Workspace and boards and reply directly to cards without diving into each board individually. Here you'll see all card conversations from boards that you're a member of.

This creates a lot of noise and additional clutter, particularly if the user is not intending to watch these cards.

      Suggested Solutions

Provide a toggle to hide a board or cards from the Highlights feed.

Alternatively, add an option on the board menu to determine on a per board basis which boards display in Highlights.

      Current Workarounds

Leaving the board could hide cards, but this prevents the user from collaborating on the boards.
