Removing users from a board with many cards takes very long

      Issue Summary

      When removing a user with a board where they are on thousands of cards, each removal is a sequential subrequest causing this process to take multiple minutes.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Have a user on a board with thousands of memberships on cards in that board
      2. Try to remove that user from the board
      3. See it takes multiple minutes. 

      Expected Results

      This should take less time

      Actual Results

      Takes many minutes

      ...

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
