      Issue Summary

When multiple users edit custom fields on the same Trello card at around the same time, changes made by one user may not appear in real-time for other users viewing the card. Depending on recent activity on the card, users may see the previous value until they close and reopen the card or refresh their browser. This applies to both the card-back and the card-front.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. User A and User B both open the same card on a board.
      1. User A changes a custom field value (e.g. selects a different dropdown option).
      1. User B changes the same custom field to a new value.
      1. User A checks the custom field on their open card.

      Expected Results

User A's card updates in real-time to display the new custom field value set by User B.

      Actual Results

User A continues to see the previous custom field value. The update does not reflect in real-time while viewing the card.

      Workaround

Depending on the state of the card:

      • Option 1: Close the card and reopen it from the board view, or open the card if already on the card front.
      • Option 2: If the value still does not update after reopening the card, perform a full browser page refresh (Ctrl + F5 / Cmd + Shift + R).
