      Issue Summary

When an automation that sorts a list is run simultaneously with a manual or automated card move, it locks the list during sorting, preventing cards from moving in and out of the list causing `board_lock` errors. The issue can be exacerbated by repeated sorts that extend the `board_lock`, making failures seem ongoing.

Symptoms are very similar to this previously fixed issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-1455

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. On a Trello board, create an automation rule that sorts a list when a card is added or moved into it
      1. Move a card into that list while the sort automation fires

      Expected Results

The card moves successfully into the list and the sort automation completes without conflict.

      Actual Results

The card move fails with an error. The issue resolves on its own after a short period but reoccurs whenever the sort automation is triggered again.

      Workaround

Disable any automations that sort your lists based on an action trigger, and/or switch list-sorting automations from action-based triggers to scheduled triggers. For example, instead of triggering a sort when a card is added to a list, configure the sort to run at a set time each day.
