As a Trello Workspace admin, I would like to have a clearer button to deactivate a Workspace member

      User Problem

When attempting to deactivate a workspace member the current UI flow is unintuitive and unclear. The "Remove" button displays a cross (✕) icon, and clicking it opens a popover with two options: Remove from Workspace, Boards  and Deactivate. However, there is no visual indicator (such as a dropdown arrow or chevron) to suggest that additional options exist beneath this button.

As a result, admins are unaware that the Deactivate option exists unless they happen to click the cross icon — which typically implies a single destructive action (removal) rather than a menu with multiple choices.

      Suggested Solutions

Replace the cross icon with a dropdown button to indicate that multiple actions are available

      Current Workarounds

There is no clear workaround. Admins can only discover the Deactivate option by clicking the cross/remove icon and noticing the popover , which is not intuitive.
