Issue Summary

When a Trello user clicks the Share button on a board to invite new members, the Sharing suggestions dropdown recommends users who are no longer active members of the workspace or board. Users who were previously removed from the workspace and all associated boards continue to appear as suggestions.

Steps to Reproduce

1)Have a Trello workspace with board members.

2)Remove a user from the workspace and all boards.

3)Navigate to any board in that workspace.

4)Click the Share button.

5)Focus on the invite/search field without typing anything.

6)Observe the Sharing suggestions dropdown.

Expected Results

Only active, relevant users should appear in Sharing suggestions.

Actual Results

Users removed from the workspace and boards months ago still appear as Sharing suggestions.

Workaround

If your organization uses a company email domain, you can verify and claim that domain through Atlassian's domain verification process. This gives you control over all Atlassian accounts under that domain, allowing you to deactivate or remove accounts of former employees. Once an account is deactivated, it will no longer appear in Trello's member suggestions.
