Add location in cardback is not working in android app

      Issue Summary

      Customers are unable to use the “search location” feature when adding a location to a Trello card via the Android app. The error “You are offline” appears, even though the device is online. The map loads, and users can manually select a pin, but the search fails. Issue is consistently reproducible for multiple users on Android and does not occur on iOS or on web.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open the Trello app on an Android device (tested with version 2026.7.1.68132-20260323).
      2. Enter a premium workspace and open any card.
      3. Click on Add location.
      4. Tap on Search location.
      5. Enter any location or address in the search bar.
      6. Observe that the error message “You are offline” appears and no search results are returned.
      7. Note: The map still loads, and manually moving the pin and selecting a location works as expected, but searching for a location does not.

      Expected Results

      Able to search location and add it.

      Actual Results

      Getting error " you are offline"

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available. Only manual selection from the map is working, which may not be feasible all the time.
