Issue Summary
Customers are unable to use the “search location” feature when adding a location to a Trello card via the Android app. The error “You are offline” appears, even though the device is online. The map loads, and users can manually select a pin, but the search fails. Issue is consistently reproducible for multiple users on Android and does not occur on iOS or on web.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the Trello app on an Android device (tested with version 2026.7.1.68132-20260323).
- Enter a premium workspace and open any card.
- Click on Add location.
- Tap on Search location.
- Enter any location or address in the search bar.
- Observe that the error message “You are offline” appears and no search results are returned.
- Note: The map still loads, and manually moving the pin and selecting a location works as expected, but searching for a location does not.

Able to search location and add it.

Getting error " you are offline"
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available. Only manual selection from the map is working, which may not be feasible all the time.
