User Problem

Users are trying to easily locate specific comments within Trello cards when a direct comment link is shared and accessed, such as when a comment link is posted in Slack. Previously, in the older Trello UI, clicking on such a link would highlight the specific comment, making it easy to find. However, with the new Trello card back design, this highlighting feature is no longer present, making it difficult for users to quickly identify the intended comment.

Suggested Solutions

The product team could consider restoring the functionality where clicking on a direct comment link not only opens the Trello card but also highlights or scrolls directly to the specific comment. This would enhance user experience by allowing users to immediately see and focus on the relevant comment without manually searching.
