Users are seeking a seamless way to manage projects across both Trello and Jira. The primary business need is for a two-way, real-time synchronisation between Trello cards and Jira issues.

Develop a native integration feature within Atlassian’s suite that supports ongoing, two-way synchronisation between Trello and Jira. This could include:

• The ability to create and link Jira issues directly from Trello cards.

• Automatic synchronisation of changes in status, comments, attachments, and custom fields between the two platforms.

• An interface within Trello that allows users to view and manage linked Jira issues without leaving the Trello environment.

Current Workarounds

Currently, users rely on third-party tools  to achieve a similar two-way sync between Trello and Jira. Additionally,  "Sync Jira issues in Trello," features only allows partial synchronisation of certain fields (status, summary, assignee), but it does not cover all fields or support issue creation from Trello.
