User Problem

Users want to be able to assign labels to cards using numeric keyboard shortcuts that correspond to the order of labels in the list, rather than being tied to label color. Additionally, users would like the ability to reorder labels in the list by dragging and dropping, similar to how checklist items can be reordered. This would make the labeling process more intuitive and efficient.

Suggested Solutions

• Allow users to:

• • Reorder labels by clicking and dragging within the label list.

• • Assign numeric keyboard shortcuts (1, 2, 3, etc.) based on the label’s position in the list, not its color.

• • Change a label’s color without affecting its shortcut assignment.

• • Automatically update shortcuts when labels are reordered.

Current Workarounds

None available. Users currently have to use the default label order and color-based shortcuts.
